To plan, develop, and manage the organization’s marketing requirements. The ideal candidate will be highly technical and not afraid of a “hands on” approach. This person will be essential in helping raise the quality and relevance of the company's marketing and collateral materials and programs.
Responsibilities:
*Build company awareness on the web by enhancing the corporate website to promote the organization’s profile and attract business *Initiate and manage the company’s exhibition and speaking participation at relevant tradeshows and conferences *Research and write sales literature such as brochures *PR initiatives - coordinate contributions into trade magazines and newspapers *Manage video requirements, i.e. trade show loops *Work with senior management on preparation and delivery of presentations *Monitor competitive products, services and marketing activities
Qualifications:
*University Degree, preferably in Marketing 5-10 years of marketing experience in the telecommunications industry *Leadership qualities in developing creative strategies, initiating projects, and driving projects to successful completion *Excellent time management and organizational skills *Experience negotiating with and managing external vendors *Excellent communication, presentation skills and interpersonal skills *Ability to manage and motivate marketing support staff - team oriented with a sense of humour *Working knowledge of Adobe Illustrator, *Photoshop, PowerPoint and HTML *Fluent in English speaking & writing and ideally fluent in French speaking *Understanding of HLR/HSS products *Experience with GSM Core Networks an asset *Knowledge of SS7 and SIP assets
