We are presently seeking a Public Relations Coordinator to work in our Montreal office. Our company successful produces two of the largest cancer fundraising events in Montreal - The Ride to Conquer Cancer and Weekend to End Women’s Cancers. Position Description:

• Daily activities include writing & pitching stories to media, media monitoring & reporting, interaction with clients & management of multiple simultaneous projects…
• Assist with comprehensive marketing and public relations plans;
• Assist with media relations, social media and help manage internal communications;
• Handle media for large charity events, along with participating & attending events in Montreal, Quebec and potentially other Canadian cities;
• Communicate effectively with all staff; and
• Effectively manage interns to support your efforts
• Be expected to take on additional projects to support the success of our various events.

Requirements:

• **Bilingual in French and English is required;
• College degree in marketing or related field preferred but not required;
• Demonstrated computer literacy and proficiency;
• Excellent written and oral communication skills;
• Very strong organizational skills required;
• Ability to work on multiple tasks at a time;
• Have excellent writing, grammar & communication skills
• Experience with copy writing is a plus;
• Be personable with a “can-do” attitude;
• Reliable and a self starter as this position is remotely managed; and
• Travel is required, especially during the summer months – must have a valid passport or ability to obtain.
