Role Overview:
You are a customer focused individual interested in either developing your sales career within a young and dynamic team focused on leveraging an industry leading digital brand in the travel industry.
You leverage product knowledge with superior customer service, focusing on optimizing the customer experience and encouraging recurrent purchase behavior. You will be asked to manage existing customer relationships and/or direct inquiries from our industry-leading digital property. You have sales and travel destination knowledge, and are motivated by qualifying customer needs into recommendations that will provide them with a magnificent vacation experience. Your will interact with customers over the phone and through email communications.
The successful incumbent will work directly with one of our Sales Managers and interact with various departments within the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
• Interface with clients and suppliers from the client’s initial contact with Luxury Retreats, through to the time of villa reservation. This includes finding an appropriate villa; responding to client questions; preparing the initial contract; collecting payment; offering travel insurance; and post-travel client follow-up • Develop sound knowledge of our villas & destinations to customers. Qualify customer needs and provide solutions. • Meet and-or exceed key performance indicators for sales • Provide an exceptionally high level of customer service • Develop relations with new and existing customers and travel partners. Follow-up on a timely basis regarding inquiries, sale and satisfaction levels
Key Qualifications:
• Passionate and well versed in travelling and travel destination knowledge is preferred. • Experienced agents will bring 3-5+ years of travel industry specific sales experience and destination knowledge. • B to C (business to customer) in-bound lead qualification and sales • Proven solution selling skills, with the natural ability to overcome objections. An overriding sense of urgency and a competitive spirit towards achievement of targets. • Proven organizational skills which are reflected in effective prioritizing, multitasking, follow-up and ultimate delivery upon commitments. • Ability to function in a predominantly English speaking environment and therefore excellent oral and written communication skills in English is required; French and especially Spanish language skills considered a very strong asset and preferred. Additional foreign language knowledge spoken and written is a very strong asset. • Sound computer proficiency and strength with MS office tools required. Experience with CRM is a distinct advantage. • Comfortable navigating multiple computer systems simultaneously. Familiarity with Google, MapQuest, Trip Advisor, Kayak etc. considered an asset. • Professional demeanor, maturity, and natural business acumen with exceptionally high level of customer service. • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Adept at asking questions and actively listening. • University degree in Business Administration or related field preferred; Travel related diploma considered an asset.
