Role Overview
The Marketing Consumer Engagement Specialist (PPC) will be responsible to support the SEO/SEM Manager on a number of quality traffic generation initiatives in the area of search engine marketing. The successful incumbent will be responsible to manage web marketing budgets of the company. He/she will manage and optimize daily Pay-per-click (PPC) campaigns on different networks, control the acquisition costs and maximize the return on investment.

The Marketing Consumer Engagement Specialist (PPC) must have very strong analytical skills and bring scientific rigor to their analysis. The successful incumbent is organized; has the ability to work independently and is results and revenue driven. He/she has a marketing background, a passion for the internet and a basic knowledge in the purchase of keywords; in addition the candidate demonstrates an interest to quickly become a specialist in this area.
Key Responsibilities
The Marketing Consumer Engagement Specialist (PPC) will be comfortable in an ever-evolving role; part of a multi-faceted team with responsibilities including, but not limited to the following:
• Manage PPC campaigns across different ad networks (Google, MSN, Yahoo Display, etc.). Track, monitor and optimize recommendations for PPC campaigns and landing pages • Produce in-depth keyword research, link analysis, SERP analysis and site reviews. • Work closely with IT team to test different search engine marketing and web site design ideas • Research and resolve possible HTML code, link architecture and navigation issues • Collaborate with marketing managers/IT managers to develop SEO strategies • Coordinate activities between copy writer, business development managers and social media specialist to boost quality inbound links

• Familiar with all aspects of online marketing including: best practices, affiliate marketing, social media and email marketing. Experience in SEO/SEM would be considered a strong asset. • Demonstrated ability to track, analyze, and present data in a comprehensible way • Basic working knowledge of Google Analytics or other web analytics tools. • Desire and experience working within a young/creative and fast paced, entrepreneurially spirited environment. • Proven project management skills. • Autonomous and capable of interfacing with people at all levels. Sharp, competent, and confident with a strong professional presence. • Demonstrates solid character and integrity in everything he/she undertakes. • College or University degree in Marketing, Web Design/ Development or other related fields • English speaking and written communication skills. Knowledge of additional languages considered a strong asset.
