The Position

GRAVURE COMMITMENT is currently growing and is now looking for a full time Sales and Channel Representative for the US Market. This position will provide a great career growth opportunity for a professional that is great at developing and maintaining relationships with Retail Jewellery Chains and Stores (Points of Sales - POS) that will sell GRAVURE COMMITMENT’S brand to the customer base.
The work will be performed mainly at the downtown Montreal Office.

The Representative will support the actions of these Retailers mainly by performing the following responsibilities:

Channel Construction:

• To confirm the profile (mainly local POS resellers) and strategy that GRAVURE COMMITMENT requires in order to achieve and surpass sales targets
• Networking with POS sources and data bases for the defined niches and regions
• Phone calls and meetings with potential POS, final selection and negotiations
• Initial training and mobilisation of the Store’s sales team

Channel Operations:

• To generate through the POS network in the USA a strong representation of GRAVURE COMMITMENT’s brand with potential local target clients in the chosen regions and segments
• Answer product questions by POS using documentation or holding phone discussions.
• Maintain a close follow up of sales activities and results
• Maintain a high level of Retailer and customer satisfaction through strong availability/access, timely communications, following up on accounts and tracking order delivery
• To participate in account planning and account strategies on a continuous basis, including sales forecasting, pipeline management, and other related sales performance analysis
• Assist in product development based on market needs

Requirements and skills

• Ability to develop and maintain relationships with Store owners and managers, by phone and by in person individual meetings, as well as trade shows
• To have the skills to behave like a “remote” Sales Director, to be a team motivator with clear expectations toward Retail Stores and their floor reps.
• Background in fashion, cosmetic, style or retail store support would be an asset
• Be results oriented, self motivated
• At ease to work in a smaller, family oriented organisation
• Excellent written and spoken English
• Computer literate and organized.
• Travel time required (approx. 20%)
• To be self disciplined and reliable with actions items and deadlines, able to work independently
• A desire to build a sales team
